Brexit

Despite economic crisis, assuming the devastating situations to come in near future, economical reasons, the fluctuation in capital investment, etc. Britain votes for Brexit, which appears due to the security, cultural factors, immigration problems, demo-graphical changes, radicalization of youth leading to terror attacks, like happened in Brussels and France. This is the political reality evident on the street in Britain. It is in Europe and various countries. This is home-grown terror and therefore need to have different measures for having control with regard to the security. However, all people would agree that there seems some kind of uneasiness among British citizens. All people feel that the large influx of immigrants is simply out of control and no one know whether it can really be controlled.

This shows how people are responding to the cause and symptoms all over the world, not only in UK, but even in US, as Trump is getting huge support. It appears that perception may win sometime over reality. Several gunman and other radicals did shoot out in various parts of US, in last few years. Recently, in Orlando, a single gunman killed over 50 innocent people. However, for Britain, the causal factors may be different than appear to others. No one actually talks of their foreign policies running since past three to four decades.

Another angle some people bring into is the right wing thought getting the control of Britain and they may grow. Although some such elements may exist, there is not such relation to the vote for Brexit, that those votes for believe in right wing, and those who voted against, did not believe. Certainly there are different sections whether in favor or against, but it is said that, youth wanted to be in EU, whereas the old people, who were somehow highly thoughtful about security, voted for Brexit. In the end, this was narrow win, but since it is not election where things can be changed after set time, but it’s a referendum, which will not be reverted. So, Britain has to come out with a new way of policies and there may be the some serious implications in near future.

Can similar situation really occur in India, for one or the other reasons? Today, Indian reporters were so keen to have debate on this and were echoing with others, including some British, for the reason that India and Britain face similar situation, which these same journalist denied one or two years back. They were no way questioning of the demo-graphical, cultural and regional changes in India; rather they proclaimed that who actually is going to decide it. Now why these journalists now seems to change their views when it came to Britain?

Actually, India is nothing but today's European Union. India has separate states, and has separate language. Each state is a different country here, similar to countries in European Union. And therefore similar situations have been arising in several parts of India, and several parts are facing immigration problems. For instance, MNS have been claiming some serious repercussions of the immigration in Mumbai, the city which is highly populated and cannot bear more than what are there at present. Several people feel, that there is serious problems of the domestic utilities and facilities, such as water, healthcare and they also feel their subsidies are taken out by others. Already nature is playing harsh role in several parts of states like Maharashtra and Telangana. Therefore, such problems need to be handled by having proper long term plans for each city and being strict about them regardless of the political situation.
